Youth Forum 2013
Closing Session of the last edition of the Youth Forum (currently Future Leaders Forum), in Canada – 2013.

Young professionals and future leaders from the oil & gas industry have a date and venue set to meet. The international meeting WPC Future Leaders Forum (FLF), to be held in Brazil for the first time, will take place on October 26 and 27 this year in Rio de Janeiro, along with the 18th edition of Rio Oil & Gas, the greatest event of the sector in Latin America.

FLF is an itinerant event that has been to countries such as China, France, India and Canada. Established in 2004 by the World Petroleum Council (WPC), the largest entity of the sector in the world, FLF will be organized by IBP in Brazil and will bring together young professionals and high level executives from all over the world for discussions on leadership, technology, innovation and sustainability within the sector.

Under the theme “Game changers: new leaders for a new competitive energy industry”, this year’s edition of the Forum has a dynamic and collaborative format, enabling the interaction between professionals from different cultures and business scenarios, in addition to the bilingual (English and Portuguese) content with simultaneous interpretation.

In its last edition, held in 2013 in Calgary, Canada, the forum received 130 lecturers and 1,500 delegates from over 60 countries.
