The resumption of the oil and gas industry resonated through the Rio Oil & Gas that happened last September, in Rio de Janeiro. The 19th event edition, the biggest oil and gas industry event  in Latin America, reunited more than 42,000 people, 24% more than the 2016 edition, including authorities, specialists, academy representatives, sector players and visitors.

This year, the event broadened the multiplatform format with 480 exhibitors brands and 10 parallel events, covering relevant issues to the industry – O&G TechWeek, Sustainability and HSE Arena, Valor Knowledge Arena, Certification Forum, Decommissioning Forum, Downstream Forum, Onshore Forum, Dinner with CEOs and Professional of the Future.

The congress provided more than 600 technical papers, nine plenary sessions and 34 special sessions for almost 5,000 congressmen. Classified as the best place for networking and business development, the Rio Oil & Gas 2018 highlighted transversal themes such as digital technologies and gender diversity in O&G industry.

 

Think Energy Magazine

One of the novelties brought by this edition of Rio Oil & Gas was Think Energy, an event exclusive publication that proposes a reflection on topics that are of great importance to the O&G industry, in addition to analyze the ongoing recovery of the sector with the main players contribution.
