Save the date for O&G TechWeek, the first event on technology focused on the Oil and Gas industry to be held in Brazil. Organized by IBP, the conference will take place at Museu do Amanhã, in Rio de Janeiro, from August 21st to 25th, and intends to present the latest technological innovations around the world, as well as reveal megatrends that will pave the way to the future of the market.

Throughout 5 days, a range of important topics to the sector will be addressed, such as Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Analytics,  Nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Cyber Security, and Drones, for example. This gathering will be held in parallel to Rio Automation 2017, at RB1 building, also in Praça Mauá, downtown Rio.

At the event, the audience will be able to understand the expectations and trends for the market, which expects an investment of R$ 296 bi until 2019, besides debating public policies and sharing ideas through an innovative and interactive agenda, presenting quality content regarding the following activities:

  • Trend Talks: interactive lectures, which will discuss technology issues that are prominent all over the world and how they affect the Oil and Gas industry;
  • Expo_Tech: an environment to check out the equipment and different approaches that have been revolutionizing the industry.
  • Start_Up_Pitch: a meeting between Start Ups and the main companies in the field aiming to present innovative approaches.
  • Hackathon/Ideation: an innovative activity that will gather technology lovers to engage in a collaborative marathon to solve challenges proposed by the industry.
