The Brazilian Institute for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP) will be hosting short courses on 21 September providing a platform for knowledge exchange and professional development. The initiative is one of the side events at Rio Pipeline 2015 – one of the world’s foremost pipeline events – which will take place from 22 to 24 September in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In all, five short courses will be offered on subjects relating to the pipeline industry, including: high-pressure pipeline intervention and isolation, introduction to offshore projects, pipeline integrity management systems, mechanical fractures for specialists and engineers, and an introduction to flexible pipeline design.

Classes will be taught by 13 Brazilian and international speakers at IBP in downtown Rio. Places are limited to 25 participants per course.
