The Call For Papers for the Rio Pipeline, which will be held from August 8th to 10th, at the Expomag, in Rio de Janeiro, has been extended. In 2023, after a 100% digital edition, the event returns to the traditional face-to-face format and presents the slogan “Knowledge and Energy for a new market”. Interested authors have until March 17th to submit their synopsis on the event’s website.

The Rio Pipeline agenda, the largest meeting of the international pipeline community in Brazil, presents 11 technical themes that cover control and automation rooms; subsea systems; logistics and operation; risk and safety; structural integrity; design, construction, materials and rights-of-way; GIS mapping and geotechnical analysis; maintenance and reconstruction of pipeline systems; distribution, storage and terminals. And new in this edition: ESG (environment, social, and governance) and environmental license, business environment, energy transition, and human capital.

For the first time in a single phase, authors must submit their work in full, in English, and following the guidelines available in the author’s guide. The technical papers must be original, and the inclusion of commercial or advertising information is forbidden.

At the end of the evaluation stage, the approved papers will be included in the final program of the Congress and must be presented in Oral or Digital Poster format and made available in the IBP Library.

The participants will also have the opportunity to circulate through an environment conducive to business, with high-level networking, in addition to the presentation of technical content of high relevance to the sustainability and development of the pipeline industry and community.
