Create an inclusive and diverse energy industry is the goal of the Mentoring Program for Oil & Gas Industry Leaders Women, launched at the first day of Rio Oil & Gas, led by IBP Diversity Committee and its associated members companies Petrobras, Total, BP Energy, Chevron, Exxon, in partnership with Lee Hatch Harrison consulting.

The main purpose of the program is to leverage the number of women in leadership positions in the oil and gas industry. Advisors, who already work on those positions, will help young women, looking forward to develop specific skills.

“Ambitiously, me and my executive friends want to give back to those young women what it had cost us to learn, and help our industry to have the contribution of diversity in their councils and boards”, said Ana Zambelli, Petrobras board of directors independent member.

The pilot project has five application stages and begins in 2019, with a duration of one year. Vacancies are limited and registration will be available shortly.
