IBP and OPITO Offer Immersive, Gamified Experience for Young Talent at ROG.e
“Embarque Estudantil” project will distribute daily prizes on the Young Summit stage and seeks to connect the next generation with companies in the energy sector.
The Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP), through UnIBP and with the sponsorship of OPITO, a global leader in skills development for high-risk industries, through its My Energy Future initiative, which inspires young people to explore the different opportunities available in the energy sector, will launch the “Embarque Estudantil” project at ROG.e. The initiative consists of an immersive and gamified learning experience developed exclusively for students, taking place from September 21 to 23.
Participation is open to students currently enrolled in high school, technical education or undergraduate programs in any field, up to 35 years of age. Students must already have a ticket for the day on which they will participate in the initiative.
Places are limited to up to 100 students per day, and each participant may register for only one day of Embarque Estudantil. Prior registration through the official ROG.e website is required. On-site validation will take place at the IBP booth from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., upon proof of age and active enrollment. The first 50 participants to confirm their attendance will receive a welcome gift.
The program aims to inspire young talent to pursue different career paths in the energy industry, while promoting networking opportunities with companies and providing information about opportunities available in the sector.
During the event, which will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., participants will take part in a variety of activities, including exploring exhibition booths, attending talks, knowledge quizzes and surprise missions.
Each completed activity earns points that contribute to a dynamic leaderboard, recorded directly in the UnIBP app. At the end of each day, the top-performing students will be recognized at an awards ceremony held on the Young Summit stage. Prizes for the top three participants include a Kindle, smartwatch and Bluetooth headphones, respectively. In addition, the top ten participants each day will receive an exclusive invitation to a technical visit to a company in the sector.
