ROG.e 2026 Sets Record for Technical Paper Submissions and Expands Engagement of the Specialized Community
Early evaluation process and the engagement of nearly 300 experts reinforce the congress’s role at the world’s largest energy festival
ROG.e 2026 is on track to register the highest number of technical paper submissions in its history. The Evaluation Committee has concluded the review process, which involved 278 expert reviewers from different areas of the energy sector. A total of 1,208 technical papers were submitted and evaluated across all thematic areas:
- Upstream: 399 papers
- Downstream: 104 papers
- Natural Gas: 86 papers
- Energy Diversification & Low-Carbon Solutions: 245 papers
- Digital Transformation and Innovation: 250 papers
- People, Culture and Society: 124 papers
Of these, more than 1,000 papers were deemed suitable for the congress, further consolidating ROG.e as one of the leading platforms for technical knowledge sharing in Brazil, with a growing international reach.
Growth Compared to the Previous Edition
With this stage now completed, authors whose papers received recommendations for revision may resubmit updated versions between May 11 and May 22 through the Author Area, as the final phase of the evaluation process aimed at ensuring the highest quality of content presented at the event. Revision recommendations will be available for consultation starting May 8.
The congress is expected to feature more than 900 technical papers, which would make it the largest international energy industry congress in terms of papers presented in a single edition. If confirmed, this figure would represent a 15% increase compared to the previous edition, which had already set a record with 778 papers in its program.
This continued growth significantly strengthens the participation of the technical community and reflects the diversity of topics shaping the energy sector.
