Rio Pipeline Conference & Exhibition has changed its branding design, to unify the whole pipeline community, in an even more complete event. PhD em Engenharia Nuclear pela U.C. Berkeley, em 1979. Foi por 13 anos professor da COPPE/UFRJ. Fundou a PRINCIPIA Engenharia, a qual foi adqui¬rida em 2000 pela DNV GL. É Vice-Presidente da DNV GL, e atualmente Gerente do Centro de P&D da DNV GL no Rio de Janeiro. É autor de cerca de 130 trabalhos técnicos publicados em revistas e conferências. É o atual Presidente da ABRISCO.

Caio is a Senior Engineer at Comgas, a natural gas distribution company in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is leading the research and assessment of corrosion in gas pipeline. He is also responsible for assessing damage to steel pipes for natural gas distribution systems. Caio also take part of National Committees for the development of Brazilian Standards related to gas distribution systems and corrosion. He also works as a Professor at the Faculdade das Américas.
Caio is graduated in Materials Engineering from the University Presbiteriana Mackenzie, with a a Master of Science degree in Materials Science from the University of São Carlos and two pHDs: in Nuclear Energy (Materials) from University of Sao Paulo and physical-chemical from Universit Pierre and Marie Curie (France).

John Browne (Lord Browne of Madingley) was CEO of BP from 1995–2007, where he built a reputation as a visionary leader, transforming BP into one of the world‘s largest companies. He was president of the Royal Academy of Engineering, is a fellow of the Royal Society, a foreign member of the US Academy of Arts and Sciences, and chairman of the trustees of the Tate Galleries. He holds degrees from Cambridge and Stanford universities, was knighted in 1998, and made a life peer in 2001. He is now the Executive Chairman of L1 Energy, an oil and gas investment company controlled by the Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman, through Alfa Group.
