Rio Pipeline 2025 Exhibition Showcases Energy and Logistics Innovations
Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025 is marking the largest edition in its history, with a 43% increase in exhibition space and more than 100 companies in attendance. The event, held through September 11 at ExpoRio Cidade Nova in Rio de Janeiro, brings together experts and players from across the oil, gas, and logistics value chain, offering a comprehensive overview of the innovations and technological solutions that are transforming the sector.
Among the technological highlights at the exhibition, HGS is presenting the Laserpro Scan, a system developed for detecting natural gas leaks using infrared laser technology. Easy to install on any vehicle, it can immediately alert operators to the presence of leaks. TAG is showcasing MAGO, an automated operational management monitoring tool that enhances transparency and predictability of operations while offering immersive virtual reality experiences in the company’s assets. Meanwhile, Omni Unmanned, the drone division of the OHI Group, is displaying large-scale drone solutions for pipeline inspection and monitoring. These drones can operate in remote areas, reduce carbon emissions by up to 95%, and replace helicopters in various missions, including offshore cargo transport and environmental monitoring.
The exhibition also features a program of case presentations and discussions on innovation, safety, and sustainability in the sector. Companies are using the occasion to demonstrate how their technologies contribute to greater efficiency, cost reduction, enhanced operational safety, and support for Brazil’s energy transition. In addition, the space offers opportunities for direct interaction with products, allowing industry professionals to experience firsthand the solutions that are transforming the country’s logistics and energy infrastructure.
Among the highlights, the IBP booth stands out as a hub for networking and relationship building, with special activations designed for visitors. Offering unique experiences and prize-winning activities, the space is staffed by a multidisciplinary team ready to welcome member companies, answer questions about products and services, present upcoming events, and guide those interested in becoming members. The booth reinforces the Institute’s role as a driver of strategic connections and promoter of initiatives that advance the oil and gas industry.
