The best papers in the 4th Brazilian Congress on CO₂ will have the opportunity to be presented at the leading O&G event in Latin America, to be held from September 24 to 27, in Rio de Janeiro.

The papers presented at the congress will be evaluated by the Technical Committee, and those that stand out will be forwarded to Rio Oil & Gas’ Technical Committee, which will decide their format for the event’s final program - oral or poster. Each of the following themes will have one chosen project: Risk Assessment and Management, Capture, Transportation, Geological Storage and Use.

Congress on CO₂: new deadline for paper submission

The interested authors can submit their extended abstracts to the website up to February 16, through the Author’s Area. The selected papers will be published in IBP’s online library. Click here to find out more information, such as complete schedule and paper format.

Under the motto “CO₂ and the low carbon economy”, the event will promote the integration of sectors, service companies, government agencies and think tanks to discuss subjects such as technologies applied to CO₂, sustainability and carbon pricing in the O&G industry.
