IBP realiza seminário de SMS com foco em asfalto
Best practice in Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) with a focus on the asphalt segment will be discussed in the first edition of the Asphalt Pavement Industry HSE and Energy Conference 2015. Organized by the Brazilian Institute for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP), the event will take place on 20 October at IBP in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
Anderson Britto, head of Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) at Petrobras Distribuidora's Asphalt division, spoke at the event about the importance of HSE for the business environment. “HSE, energy efficiency, product and service quality and social responsibility are pillars underpinning any solid and marketing-leading company," says Britto, who will be on the panel on asphalt handling.
With a new format that provides delegates with the opportunity to interact with industry experts, the conference will feature presentations on asphalt emissions, including a study out of the Federal University of Santa Maria and the experience of toll road concessions such as CCR Nova Dutra, represented by Valéria Faria.
