IBP - Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute

Organized by the Brazilian Institute for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP), the 3rd International Congress on Catalysis for Biorefineries (CatBior) will present new concepts, ideas and experience in an event running from 28 to 30 September in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A total of 143 papers have been approved and will be presented by their authors in oral technical sessions throughout the three days of the event.

The papers have been divided into six categories: catalytic conversion of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and biomass in its natural state; catalytic conversion of chemicals from biomass; catalytic conversion of vegetable oils, fats, algae and oil-derived chemicals; thermochemical conversion of biomass and catalytic processing technologies associated with bio-oil; catalytic conversion of sugars and low molecular weight carbohydrates; and other catalytic biomass conversion processes.
