The Compliance Committee is a forum for discussing corporate compliance and integrity policies implemented by members of the oil and gas industry, with the goal of coordinating efforts to fight corruption in the sector and disseminating knowledge and technology in the field of corporate governance. The purpose is to contribute to the development of a more competitive, ethical, and socially responsible national industry. The Commission is also responsible for the Compliance Talks event, which will hold its third edition in July 2025.

Working Groups
Gender WG
The IBP Gender WG discusses gender-related issues in the oil and gas industry. The WG is a space for discussion, sharing best practices, and developing initiatives and products focused on the debate about the impact of gender on career development and the O&G industry as a whole.
Race and Ethnicity WG
The Race and Ethnicity Working Group aims to diagnose, map, research, and discuss best practices, as well as to propose actions that contribute to the attraction, retention, and development of black professionals in the oil and gas industry.
WG on PwD
The goal of the Working Group on People with Disabilities (PwD) is to promote the exchange of experiences of practices carried out in companies in the O&G industry that are focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as to share views from outside the sector, to contribute to discussions among the people who participate in the group.
Some of the best practices regarding People Management are discussed and presented in this IBP Committee. In its information exchange meetings, the group constantly seeks to promote actions for the development and capacity building of the workforce in the oil and gas industry.

Working Groups
Corporate Training WG
The main purpose of this Working Group is to discuss corporate learning processes in the Oil and Gas sector.
The Youth Committee is a multidisciplinary group made up of employees from IBP member companies who are aged 35 or under. The aim is to train the leaders of the future who will spearhead the energy transition, develop projects to engage with young people by contributing to their education, and discuss technical issues and career development topics that are currently trending in the industry. Our work aims to contribute to the attraction, insertion, and career development of students and young professionals interested in working in the oil, gas, and energy sector. The group promotes activities for knowledge exchange and intra- and intergenerational networking, aiming to strengthen the image of the sector in Brazil.

Working Groups
Papers WG
The Papers Working Group aims to encourage the technical and editorial output of young professionals who are members of the Youth Committee. We believe that there is ample room for the ideas and knowledge of young people in our industry and that this knowledge, when properly conveyed, can be part of the solution to the major issues affecting our sector.
Energia Jovem WG (podcast)
This group is in charge of the Energia Jovem podcast (https://spoti.fi/3dxzCd4), which aims to discuss and help promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the oil and gas industry from the perspective of young professionals.
Events WG
A group responsible for proposing and organizing events suggested by Committee members and/or the general public, such as Rodada Jovem, Uma Jornada até o Topo, Hang out with..., De Jovem para Jovem, among other formats. Check out the IBP Jovem playlist on the IBP YouTube channel
Energy Minds WG
The group is responsible for organizing monthly meetings for the Mentes de Energia (Energy Minds) community. The program aims to bring together those who are new to the oil, gas, and energy sector and want to discuss market issues to contribute to the energy transition. Sign up for the 2023 meeting cycle.
Youth Platform WG (mentorship)
This group coordinates and promotes the Plataforma Jovem (Youth Platform) mentoring program, which aims to develop young professionals (mentors) and students (mentees) interested in pursuing a career in the oil, gas, and energy industry.
