Hege Færø-Finnvik joined Equinor in 2008 as Technical Safety Engineer. She has held different manager roles on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and experienced both onshore and offshore. Hege has a Master Degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Sciences and Technology. Since 2017 Hege has been heading up Operations Technology and Excellence reporting directly to Brazil Country Manager and President of Equinor Brazil.

José Carlos Pinto has a Master’s degree (1987) and a PhD degree (1991) in Chemical Engineering from Coppe/UFRJ and is a full professor at UFRJ where he started his teaching career in Coppe’s Chemical Engineering Program in 1992. Marcelo Xavier is 39 years old and holds graduation degree in mechanical engineering and master degree in subsea engineering from Fluminense Federal and from Rio de Janeiro Federal universities respectively. He joined Subsea 7 in 2001 and since then had worked in many projects at different locations including offshore campaigns onboard several vessels. He has also published a number of technical papers in different international conferences. In 2017, following three years working for Africa region, he moved back from Paris to Rio to lead Subsea 7 in Brazil as Vice-President.

Johannes Klingberg has acquired solid knowledge in bilateral cooperation projects focused on scientific and technological cooperation especially between Germany and Brazil. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Cologne and RWTH Aachen, a master's degree from the Technical University of Cologne and has worked for the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and as well as a stay as a visiting researcher at the University of Brasilia. Throughout his career he participated in different research and consulting projects in the field of innovation economics and sustainable development. Since 2017 he has been the Executive Director of the Brazil-Germany Association of Engineers (VDI-Brasil), a Brazilian representative of one of the largest technical-scientific associations in the world. Vinicius Girardi is Business Development Manager at ESSS O&G, a business unit dedicated to software and simulation tools for the O&G Industry. He has Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering and Masters in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of São Paulo in Brazil and Petroleum Engineer Degree by PUC-Rio. Sylvia Anjos graduated in Geology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1978. In 1979 started working at PETROBRAS as onsite geologist. Obtained her master degree from the University of Illinois in 1984 and her phD in 1987. Coordinated XRD, SEM and petrology laboratories of Petrobras research Center for 10 years. In 1999 started her managerial career being the manager of the Sedimentology and Petrophysics group, and the Stratigraphy and Biostratigraphy group of PETROBRAS Research Center (CENPES). In 2005 moved to the Exploration department as manager of the Petroleum System Modeling Group. She was the General Manager of Geology applied to Exploration for 10 years and since 2016 is the general manager deputy of The Applied Technology of the Libra Project team. From 2017 to February 2019, she was President of the Brazilian Association of Petroleum Geologists-ABGP.

Rich McAvey is Gartner’s Distinguished Research Vice President for the Oil and Gas industry. His research examines the impact of digital technologies on oil and gas companies. He focuses on how CDOs and business leaders can use digital technologies to optimize business performance and how CIOs must change IT to remain relevant and impactful. Prior to Gartner, Rich had 32 years of oil & gas experience at ExxonMobil, Accenture and Marathon Oil, where he held a variety of officer/executive roles. Orlando Ribeiro has been with Petrobras for 35 years. He started his career in Campos Basin as an Offshore Completion Engineer and held several Technical and Management positions in various areas, including Completion Operations, Subsea Engineering, R&D, New Ventures and Gas and Power. He was Project Manager for the Cascade and Chinook Development, in the Gulf of Mexico. After this, he was Program Manager for the PROCAP Future Vision Program. In July 2012 he was the Production Engineering R&D General Manager of Petrobras R&D Center and in 2014 he was Subsea, Wells and Facilities General Manager for the Libra development. Since April 2018 he is the Petrobras R&D Center Executive Manager. Mr Ribeiro has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering and the Petrobras Petroleum Engineering course. He also concluded Graduate Studies on Science and Technology management in the University of São Paulo and INSEAD. In addition, Mr. Ribeiro has two patents, is author or co-author of several papers and takes part in the organizer committee for some events in the subsea and offshore areas, such as: OTC, SPE Forum Series Brazil, Rio Oil & Gas, Subsea Forum Rio.

As the EY Latin America South Innovation Leader, Denis leads the BeyondLabs innovation program and the wavespace operations and is a key leader of the firm’s digital and innovation evangelization agenda, internally and externally. With over 18 years of experience in large companies in Brazil and abroad, Denis has held executive, consulting and advisory positions working with innovation, technology, strategy and public policy. Acting in industries including aerospace, defense, ICT systems, automotive, professional business services and consumer goods, Denis led projects such as design and implementation of innovation centers, development of new business models, corporate strategic planning and strategic and technological foresight. Prior to joining EY, he was Senior Executive Manager of Strategic Marketing and Head of B2C at Atech (Embraer Group), Principal at Strategos Consulting and Chief Technology Advisor, and other positions, at Embraer. Denis has a strong academic background, with a bachelor in Mechanical-Mechatronical Engineering, a graduate degree in Scientific Journalism, a M.Sc. in Aeronautical-Mechanical Engineering and is a PhD candidate in Science and Technological Policy. He has also held positions with industry bodies, teaches in some of Brazil’s leading graduate schools and is the author of articles and book chapters on innovation, technology, strategy and public policy.

Jane Zhang is General Manager Shell Technology Brazil. She oversees Shell Technology’s operational footprint and program portfolio in Brazil covering Wells, Subsea/Topsides, Carbonate IOR, Geoscience, Integrated Gas, and New Energies. Jane joined Shell in 1991 as mechanical engineer. She spent her early career in downstream including research, engineering, and operations and maintenance assignments at the refinery and chemical plants. Jane subsequently took on a range of assignments in upstream Deepwater and Unconventional covering technical and leadership roles in engineering, front-end development, project delivery, and technology. In 2010, she assumed the role of General Manager for Deepwater Technology. In 2017, Jane assumed the current position. Jane holds a BS in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University in the US.
