The opportunities, challenges and trends for the Brazilian offshore segment will be topics of discussion in the Brazil Offshore Finance Forum, organized by Marine Money International and sponsored by IBP. The event will be held on October 24, at the Copacabana Palace hotel, in Rio de Janeiro.

The agenda will address topics such as the potential impact of Brazil’s new president on the oil & gas industry; the current status and future plans of BNDES for the area; opportunities and challenges in decommissioning and field redevelopment; the business and market landscape in the country; as well as other topics related to compliance, decommissioning and investments.

Among the important names the forum will host are Ivar Løvberget, Senior Vice President of Export Credit Norway’s Oil & Gas Department; Daniel Lavarda Sinigaglia, Economist for Latin America at the Standard Chartered Bank (Brazil); Blener Mayhew, Chief Financial Officer of PetroRio; Jorge L.
