The Industry´s Agenda, a document that groups the main topics of oil and gas sector for the 2019-2022 term, was released to authorities, government agents and representatives of industry, in an exclusive event organized by the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute – IBP and Poder 360, at April 16th, in Brasilia. The Minister of Mines and Energy, Bento Albuquerque and IBP and Federal General Accounting Office (TCU) presidents, José Firmo, and José Mucio Monteiro, respectively, were present at the seminar “Opportunities of the Oil and Gas Sector for Brazil

The Agenda was developed by IBP aiming to present the most relevant themes to oil and gas industry in Brazil at the resumption of investments moment. The document proposes the discussion of steps to regain competitiveness, showing the Brazilian oil and gas industry has wide capacity to multiply investments, increase jobs creation, tax revenues and contribute to the economic growth of the country.

Some of the subjects included in the document are the improvement in the business environment of the E&P sector, the expansion and structuring of the natural gas market and the opening of the downstream sector.
