The 4th edition of O&G TechWeek will bring to the delegates the challenges of the industry with the ultimate trends in technology and innovation of the brave new world of digital transformation. With the theme “The Impact of Digital Technologies on the Future of the Oil and Gas Industry”, the event aims to be the main discussion forum on its impacts on the O&G industry.
Discussions will be focused on the major impacts of digital transformation in the O&G Industry: improving the efficiency in the processes, increasing of productivity and operational safety. The implementation of such changes will lead the O&G industry to reduce their costs, enhance operational performance and increase competitiveness.
Considering the relevance of the O&G industry, it is expected a positive impact to the society by dissemination of the digital transformation within the main sectors of the economy and contributing to build a better future world.
This edition will be the start of a partnership with World Petroleum Council (WPC) which will be in charge of Expert Workshop at days 1 and 2 of the O&G TechWeek, establishing this encounter as an international digital transformation event in the O&G industry.
Organized by the World Petroleum Council (WPC), the WPC Expert Workshop is an initiative designed to address regional and global issues of interest for the industry and will be held on August 26-27, with the theme “The impact of digital technology on the future of the oil and gas industry”.
The program had hacktahons, startups pitch, technology experimentation, day dedicated to a guest country and technical visits in the main research, technology and innovation center of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
