O&G Techweek 2018

Get ready for the Oil & Gas TechWeek 2018, the largest event on technology for the Oil and Gas industry to be held in Brazil. The second edition of the conference will take place from September 24th to 27th, alongside Rio Oil & Gas 2018, in Rio de Janeiro, and will showcase the latest technological innovation around the world.

The Oil & Gas TechWeek 2018 will unveil the megatrends that will pave the segment´s future, as well as discuss the greatest technologies and innovation that will reset our industry.

During the 4 days of the event, we will address the perspectives of the market new technologies.

• Which are the main trends?
• Which are the effects and expectations of its applications?

There will be discussions about hot topics for the industry, such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Analytics, Nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Cyber Security, Drones and more.

Oil & Gas TechWekk 2018, to be held alongside Rio Oil & Gas, reedits the concept launched in 2016, when, in addition to having an exhibition area, the participants also indicates a specialist to give a presentation in the central arena.

Sua área de atuação está especialmente focada na área de Video Games, Realidade Virtual, GPUs e visualização. É um dos fundadores do SBGames (Simpósio Brasileiro de Games e Entretenimento Digital), tendo sido presidente da Comissão Especial de Jogos da SBC entre 2010 e 2014. Jim Critchfield is currently the Licensing Technology Manager for Shell Gas Processing in the Americas, and Shell’s Subject Matter Expert for Amine Treating. Due to his current role Jim has the responsibility to developed and conducts Shell’s internal Master Class on Amine Treating for future Gas Processing experts in Shell. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where his dissertation was on accelerated reaction rates in formulated gas treating solvents.
