WPC Future Leaders Forum 2016

In 2016, from 24 to 27 October, IBP – Brazilian Petroleum, Natural Gas & Biofuels Institute brought to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the fifth edition of the largest gathering of young professionals in the petroleum industry. Under the motto “Game changers: new leaders for a new competitive energy industry”, the 2016 edition of the event, created by the World Petroleum Council (WPC), had as pillars of discussion topics such as industry sustainability, business leadership and technology & innovation.

FLF is a global and collaborative event.
To organize this 5th edition here in Brazil, young professionals from all around the globe did a lot of research, organized a lot of focus groups, discussions and meetings.

Leonardo Junqueira has more than 10 years’ experience in Finance leading positions. His experience includes a position as CFO/Deputy CFO during an IPO and a Private Placement processes, including responsibilities related to investor relations and post-implementation. He also occupied the role of Financial Controller of a 1,5 Billion $ Canadian project (funded through two projects finance) reporting directly to local general manager, and a temporary position in Repsol Headquarters (Spain) with the role as CFO Americas (LAM and T&T) from December 2015 to March 2016.
He is a civil engineer graduated at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, has a Master in Finance Derivatives and Capital Markets (Pontificia Universidade Católica – IAG/PUC RJ – Brazil) and an MBA in “Economía y gestión de las empresas de energía” (IESE, Universidad de Navarra, Instituto Superior de la Energía – Madrid/Spain).
Since April 2016 he occupies the role of CEO Brazil for Repsol Sinopec.

Solange Guedes has already occupied positions focused on technical improvement, technological development and on the application of best practices in development and processes of oil and gas production. With a great variety of social and collaborative projects as part of his background, Eduardo Costa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Production Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Production Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona.

World Petroleum Council (WPC) Executive Committee member, he has also been Executive Director of 17th WPC Conference , held in Brazil in 2002. He worked in Petrobras from 1977 until 2012, where he held several positions in international business, engineering, communication and marketing, as well as at Petrobras subsidiary BR, Interbrás (trading) and BRASPETRO (E&P). From 2005 until January 2012, Milton served as Petrobras Mexico CEO. Milton has a bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 1977, as is specialized in Petroleum Processing Engineering (UFRJ - 77) and in Economic and Industrial Management Engineering (UFRJ - 78). In 1986, he obtained a Master title in Production Engineering (PUC-RJ) and in 1995, an MBA in Marketing (COPPEAD-UFRJ).

Mr. Ali Rahneshin is official employees of National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NIPC) and Iran Ministry of Petroleum(NIOC). He is Official Representative from Iran Oil Industry Youth Committee in World Petroleum Council Youth Committee (WPC YC) from 2012 up to 2017.In the other side he is Leader of Youth Connect in WPC Youth Professional Connect in LinkedIn.

He has been 14 years' experience in upstream from 2002 to 2006 in Central Iranian Oil Company as administrative affair and Downstream in Khuzestan Petrochemical Co (KZPC-Polycarbonate Plant) in process area from 2006 to 2008, Borzouyeh Petro Refinery Complex in commercial department (BPC- Aromatic Plant) from 2008 up to now a subsidiary of National Iranian Petrochemical Company.

Meanwhile, he is DBA student now. His interesting field is Researcher in on Futures studies in Energy, Environmental issues, CSR & sustainability in Iran Oil & Gas & Petrochemical Company.
