Formado em Engenharia, com pós-graduação em Gestão Empresarial, é empregado de carreira do Sistema Petrobras desde 1984. Já foi auditor e instrutor do Processo de Gestão de Qualidade da Petrobras e desempenhou funções gerenciais nos Terminais Aquaviários da Baía de Guanabara e no Terminal Aquaviário de Angra dos Reis. Na Sede (RJ), foi Gerente Executivo de Oleodutos (02/2005 – 10/2007), Gerente Executivo de Terminais Aquaviários (10/2007 - 07/2010) e Gerente Executivo de Desenvolvimento de Logística para o Pré-sal (07/2010 - 12/2013). Em dezembro de 2013 foi designado para assumir a Diretoria de Dutos e Terminais.
Participou como representante da Petrobras no Comitê de Portos e Terminais (PTC) e no Comitê Executivo (EXCOM), ambos do OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum). Atuou como presidente e atualmente é o vice-presidente do Comitê de Dutos e Terminais (CoDyTe) da ARPEL (Regional Association of Oil, Gas and Biofuels Sector Companies in Latin America and the Caribbean).

Engenheiro Mecânico formado pela UFRJ em 1998, Eduardo Merçon trabalha no sistema Petrobras desde 2001, atuando sempre na área de dutos e terminais da TRANSPETRO, onde desde 2005 exerce cargos gerenciais nos segmentos de Óleo e Gás. Foi Gerente do Centro de Controle Operacional de Gasodutos de 2013 a 2015 e atualmente exerce o cargo de Gerente de Operações do CNCL, Centro Nacional de Controle e Logística da TRANSPETRO, órgão responsável pela operação de mais de 14.000 km de oleodutos e gasodutos em 17 Estados do país. Especializou-se na primeira turma do curso de Engenharia de Dutos da PUC-Rio, em 1999, e concluiu em 2005 curso de Master in Business of Petroleum - MPB da COPPE/UFRJ.

Cliff Johnson joined Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) in September 2010 as President. He has overseen the creation of the new PRCI Technology Development Center (TDC) in Houston, Texas, which opened in 2015. The TDC will be a cornerstone for PRCI research and deployment for key solutions for the pipeline industry. As President, he has been able to grow PRCI membership by 20%. Today PRCI represents over 60% of the world’s transmission pipeline mileage.

Prior to joining to PRCI, Mr. Johnson spent 13 years at NACE International, where he has held a variety of positions during his career. His most recent position was as NACE’s Director of Public Affairs where he led NACE’s legislative initiatives.

Mr. Johnson earned his Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He has obtained his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation and is active in the America Society of Association Executives.

He currently lives with his wife, Courtney, and 5 children (Emma, Oleg, Vivian, Lena, and Hana) in Centreville, Va.

John Browne (Lord Browne of Madingley) was CEO of BP from 1995–2007, where he built a reputation as a visionary leader, transforming BP into one of the world‘s largest companies. He was president of the Royal Academy of Engineering, is a fellow of the Royal Society, a foreign member of the US Academy of Arts and Sciences, and chairman of the trustees of the Tate Galleries. He holds degrees from Cambridge and Stanford universities, was knighted in 1998, and made a life peer in 2001. He is now the Executive Chairman of L1 Energy, an oil and gas investment company controlled by the Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman, through Alfa Group.

Youth Professional Program

Students from all over the country had a great opportunity to invest in a career in the oil and gas industry! The Youth Professional Program is held annually alongside national and international events of the market. Through debates with specialists in the oil and human resources areas, headhunters and youth professionals, the students were be able to interact with speakers, share experiences and collect valuable tips.
