Gustavo Bursztyn

Gustavo Bursztyn was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he graduated from the Rio de Janeiro State University, with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Shell, he worked for Arthur Andersen for 9 years, leaving his Senior Audit Manager position to join Shell Brasil in 2003, where he held several finance positions, including financial planning, accounting and reporting. In 2007 he joined the Royal Dutch Shell Investor Relations team in The Hague, Netherlands, where he managed RDS’ Quarterly Results Announcements and spend external time with shareholders and financial market analysts throughout the world, focusing on Shell’s strategy, delivery and financial performance of all Shell’s businesses. In 2011, based out of Houston, Gustavo managed the global Finance Projects (P&T) Deepwater team, managing the development of Deepwater projects, together with his team of Project Finance Managers. Early 2016, aligned with Shell´s acquisition of BG, Gustavo moved back to Brazil as the CFO of Shell Brasil Petroleo Ltda, leading the two companies integration and a world class portfolio of Deepwater assets (operated and non-operated).
